Want to try something new this weekend? Reserve your spot for Friday, November 30 or Saturday, December 1 for a special two-night-only restaurant “take over”.
Hudson North, a new pop-up restaurant concept in Atlantic Station, is teaming up with former Bravo “Top Chef” contestant, Eli Kirshtein, to serve Japanese tapas with a twist.
Working off a traditional Japanese “Izakaya” concept – a casual bar that also serves food, the menu consists of small plates combining Japanese techniques with local ingredients. ($5 – $20 per plate.)
Dishes include:
Steamed Chickpeas with Maldon Salt
Key West Stone Crab Claw with Yuzu Kosho Mayo
Tuna “Sashimi” with Nuta Dressing, Shiso
Katsuya’s Tatertot “Takoyaki”
Rock Shrimp Karaage with Creamy Chili Sauce
Mushroom Horiu-Yaki Baked in Foil
Pork Tonkatsu Skewer with Tonkatsu Sauce, Shredded Cabbage
Chicken Tsukune Skewer with Yuzu Kosho
And of course, no Japanese meal is complete without sake! Opt for specially-crafted sake cocktails courtesy of Yamamoto Honke Brewery.
The two night only “takeover” begins at 5 p.m. on November 30 and December 1. Reservations are required. For more information visit Hudson North on Facebook at www.facebook.com/HudsonNorthATL and to reserve your spot, email info@hudson-north.com.
