One of the things I love about blogging and Social Media are the amazing people I’ve met along the way. I met my friend, Ashley, via Twitter, a little over a year ago. Since then, we’ve shared many fun meals together. Ashley is running in the Chicago Marathon this October and is part of Leukemia and Lymphoma Team in Training. They are raising money to help stop these cancers from taking more lives.
This cause is really important to me. My mom died 24 years ago of lymphoma at just 39 years old. Had the treatments that are available today been available back then, she certainly would have survived and beat cancer.
This site averages between 600 and 700 visitors per day. If each visitor contributed just $4 it would help Ashley reach his goal. If you read this blog and find it useful, I’d greatly appreciate it if you would make a donation, no matter how small, to help wipe out blood cancer.
