Capital Grille’s Summer Plates Offering

The new Summer “Plates” lunch menu is in full effect at the Captial Grille. Back on the menu is the Wagyu Cheeseburger with Fried Egg and Crisp Onions – Another notable lunch entrée is a brand new dish, – Seared Sea Scallops with Sweet and Sour Tomatoes. I was invited to sample the offerings at the Capital Grille recently.

But I’m getting ahead of myself. We started with the new Carrot Ginger Soup. There’s a bit of orange juice added I’m told which really brings out the ginger flavor as well in the soup. Loved it – neither the carrot or ginger flavor was too strong, just the right amount of both for a delicious start to our meal.

New Summer “Plates” menu items also includes a Tomato and Watermelon Salad with Feta Cheese. Certainly a refreshing choice for summer, I found the dressing to be very tangy.

The newest entrée addition is the Scallops served with tomatoes and an Israeli cous cous. Scallops were cooked perfectly. Definitely feel this a good value for the cost of the dish. As always, guests of The Capital Grille can customize their lunch, choosing soup or salad, lunch entrée and a side – all for $16.
