The newly opened Watershed is larger and much more beautiful that its previous Decatur space. Located in Buckhead, near Collier Road and Peachtree, the new Watershed has a terrific patio overlooking Peachtree. Nearby office workers could stop in for a drink and snacks after work or for a full dinner.

We were invited to sample some bites and tour the new Watershed last week. Upon entering, you’ll see the expansive bar front and center. This gorgeous wood bar was constructed from a single oak tree.

The menu is divided into Bar Snacks, Appetizers, Mains and Desserts. Appetizers are around $11, while mains are pricey at a near $30 price point and all desserts are $8. Some of the items we sampled were the Crawfish Pie, Grilled Hearts of Palm with Egg Salad and Ham as well as a Honey Biscuit with Ham. These southern bites have us anxious to come back and try some of the menu items like Joe’s Jambalaya and Chicken Fried Steak.
