RA Sushi Hosts One Year Anniversary Party

Hard to believe RA Sushi has already been open for one year in Atlanta. To celebrate, RA Sushi is hosting a luau party that will feature live entertainment, food and drink specials and a raffle benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta. RA Sushi’s anniversary party takes place this Thursday, July 15th beginning at 7 pm.

Guests will be greeted with leis and tropical decorations, and entertained by a steel drummer and fire eaters live on the patio from 7 to 10 p.m. Inside, a DJ will be spinning a mix of Hawaiian beats, rock, hip hop and top 40 hits. A limbo contest will take place in the bar area at 9 p.m.; the winner will receive a $100 RA Sushi gift certificate, and the runner up will receive a $50 gift certificate.

Food specials for the evening include Pineapple Cheese Wontons ($6), Grilled Short Ribs ($6), Poki Bowl ($8) featuring spicy tuna with Asian green vegetables served over rice, Island Roll ($6) with smoked salmon, pineapple and cream cheese rolled and drizzled with pineapple sauce, and the Hawaii 5-0 Roll ($10) with spicy Hawaiian yellowtail and cucumber, rolled inside out and topped with avocado and mango salsa.

Drink specials include the Strawberry Gingerita ($5), pint-sized Tsunami Punch ($5), Mai Tai ($5), domesticbeers ($3), Chang Lager ($3) and Tea it Up ($5). Two dollars from the purchase of each food and drink special will directly benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta.

Raffle tickets will be sold during the party and will cost $5 per ticket. Three raffle prize packages will be given away throughout the night at 8 p.m., 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. Prizes include tickets to a Braves game and a Tomahawk Chop Roll dinner at RA Sushi; a sushi and spa day; and a sushi and sake party for 10 people. All raffle proceeds will directly benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta.
