The 20th Annual Taste of Alpharetta will be held Thursday, May 13, from 5 to 10 pm. Taste of Alpharetta will be in Downtown Alpharetta at Wills Park and has over 50 restaurants participating. You’ll be able to sample appetizers, entrees and desserts from the top menus in town. The Taste of Alpharetta also includes culinary demonstrations, activities and entertainment. Admission to Taste of Alpharetta is free. But food samples are priced at $1-3 per food sample.

Competition:
2010 Culinary Competitions 5-7pm: We will have Culinary Competitions with chefs competing on Main Stage for Best Appetizer/ Salad, Best Fast Casual Entrée, Best Fine Dining Entrée, Best Dessert, Best Presentation, People’s Choice Award, and Best Booth.
2010 People’s Choice Award:
Ballots will be available at the Main Stage through 7pm. There are no judging guidelines for this category. The restaurant with the most votes wins the People’s Choice Award, so stop by the stage!
I won’t be able to visit Taste of Alpharetta this year, but I did last year and here’s a recap of my experience. My best advice is get there early. Parking was a mess last year and many vendors are biting at the bit to pack it up as soon as they can. So, if you want the best food selection you’ll need to get there early.
