If you’re like me, you’ve long been a fan of Fat Tire beer. I was so happy to find it available in Atlanta last month – FINALLY! The Belgian Style Amber ale has a bread-like taste with a chocolate finish and is somewhat fruity. Originally started in Fort Collins, CO, Fat Tire was named after founder Jeff toured through Belgium on his bike.
Fat tire (22 oz bottle) is available to purchase for $3.29 at Total Wine. It is also available at grocery stores Kroger and Publix and other liquor stores but only in the 22 oz size. I hear six pack sizes are soon to come. This will be great as the 22 oz bottles are great only if you are sharing.
It is on draft at Fontaine’s and Highland Tap for only $4 a piece. They are having a special kick off today (June 29th). Buy a pint and keep the glass.
