Padriac’s is a great find in the Vinings area. I’ve been to Padriac’s several times and have always enjoyed their great food. My most recent visit to Padriac’s was on St. Patrick’s Day. My original intention was to meet some friends at Meehan’s down the street. I thought the crowds would be low as St. Patrick’s was on a Monday but boy was I wrong.
So, I changed my plans and went to Padriac’s instead. And they didn’t let me down at all. I actually met some friends that had been there for a couple hours so I had no problems getting a table. I always love a place that has good beer on draft and this place has it – Stella, Newcastle, etc, over 30 beers in total on draft.
As far as the food goes, they are pretty inventive with their dishes. I love the Latin flair to their dishes (think spices like chipotle and cilantro). Much more than typical bar food, I love the Steak Tostada appetizer, and crab and shrimp risotto (not found on the menu anymore), and their peach glazed pork. Just writing this is making my mouth water!
